About
Concours Beursault is a regional Beursault target archery competition held on 18 and 19 July 2026 in Pechbonnieu, France. Organized by Les Archers Frontonnais, this event is qualifying for the French National Championships and welcomes licensed FFTA archers in all eligible categories and divisions.
The tournament takes place at the Jeu d'arc des Archers de Pechbonnieu and follows official FFTA Beursault rules. Each shooting session consists of 20 haltes, for a total of 40 arrows, plus two practice haltes.
Competition format:
- Beursault round
- 20 haltes (40 scoring arrows)
- 2 practice haltes
- Distances: 50 m, and 30 m for U13 and U15 categories
- Maximum of two pelotons of five archers per departure
Schedule:
- Saturday 18 July 2026: Afternoon departure
- Sunday 19 July 2026: Morning and afternoon departures
Opening of registration, equipment inspection and practice:
- Saturday: 13:00
- Sunday morning: 08:30
- Sunday afternoon: 13:00
Start of shooting:
- Saturday: 13:30
- Sunday morning: 09:00
- Sunday afternoon: 13:30
Entry fee:
- 10 € per archer per departure
Registration closes on 15 July 2026. Entries should be sent by email to concours@les-archers-frontonnais.fr.
Company, club or white dress is mandatory. A valid FFTA licence is required. Warm-up shooting is available on outdoor targets of approximately 20 metres.
Refreshments including sandwiches, pastries and hot and cold drinks will be available on site.
The Concours Beursault in Pechbonnieu is an important qualifying competition for the French Archery Championships and offers a traditional Beursault shooting experience in the Occitanie region.
